Citi has inaugurated its new Regional Headquarters at Kingdom Tower in Riyadh, marking a strategic expansion into one of the Middle East's most dynamic markets. The MOVE follows the bank's receipt of a Regional Headquarters License from Saudi authorities in November 2024, part of the Kingdom's broader initiative to attract multinational corporations.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony drew high-profile attendees including Saudi Investment Minister Khalid A. Al-Falih and Citi CEO Jane Fraser, signaling the partnership's significance. "The Middle East represents a pivotal growth frontier," Fraser noted during the event, underscoring the region's increasing importance in global finance.

Concurrently, the Citi Foundation committed $500,000 to expand youth employment programs across MENA through NGO Education for Employment. This dual focus on institutional presence and social impact reflects Citi's comprehensive approach to regional engagement.
